NTP sued RIM in the United States for patent infringement in 2002 and won an injunction in 2003 to shut down U.S. service. That injunction was stayed pending appeals.

I'm sure glad we switched to the Treo! I can't say I was ever impressed with the Blackberry anyway. The coverage with RIM was awful at best.
The article says there are 3 million users in the U.S. - Anyone here use a Blackberry from RIM?
