I am hoping we will see this eventually. A game tied to real life via a credit system. A game where you are able to transfer not just your character, but there skill sets as well, to other games. Not just to the next version of the game but to various games. I suppose your skills would be like currency, they could have an exchange rate, keeping loyalty not just to your own game; but keeping you loyal to gaming in general.
Hey us gamers invest time in these games over there lives should it not be recognised?
If you spend a couple of thousand hours on a MMP and then there is a new version of it, or you finally get board of it, all your skill are lost. That sucks. All that time wasted.?
Of course you can always sell your character (on E-bay) if you get board.
