I've upgraded to a Geforce 6800 GT recently, and have a few doubts about temps.
The card usually idles at 45 and goes up to 65 (temps checked with Rivatuner) after a short session of F.E.A.R..
Are these OK?
Also, what would be the highest safe temps for this card?
Stock speeds and cooling, btw.
Thanks in advance!

If itīs at stock speed, I wouldnīt worry too much for the temps while you donīt have artifacts or hang ups in games. Anyway, I think that your temps are good, thay are good, I donīt know what is the max safer temps though

Don't worry mate. It seems that your temperatures are just fine.
Idle temps of 40-50 are normal and on load, your video card should reach no more than 75 degrees.
I'm currently running a XFX 6600GT 500/1000 overclocked to 570/1140.
I used to have Idle temps of 56 degrees and when I played F.E.A.R I've reached temps of OVER 80 (!!!) after playing for half an hour or so.
So...than I decided to go and buy a better GPU cooler. I bought the Zalman VF-700Cu. I must tell you that this cooler is absolutely awesome!!! Since I've installed it my Idle temps are no more than 43 and Load temps are no more than 65!!!
So, my advice, if you're not going to overclockm your temps are just fine and you have nothing to worry about. But, if you plan on overclocking, you should by a decent Video Cooler, and your should definitely taken the Zalman VF-700Cu into consideration.

the temp looks fine to me. These gfx usually runs cooler during 2d as it clocks down but during 3d they do get quite hot.

Mine runs a bit cooler since I have an Arctic-Cooling VGA Silencer on mine. http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga1.php These things are great, I'd get one if you don't mind voiding your warranty by installing it.
Seems like you have normal temps though.
