Running Vista CTP Feb 06 and got an Nvidia's card. then you should install the latest driver beta from nvidia. Finally, Nvidia has released a driver for the Vista(it seems like they don't release it at all except the initial one). Be warned, the driver is only for th 64bit OS.
what's interesting from the driver's support list is that it seems like all cards since 5xxx will be able to run vista fine. I guess as long as it's dx9, it should run vista fine.

all card could run vista just not the AeroGlass eature which is pumped very hard by microsoft as a main feature.
to me a stable os is fr more important the a nice looking one .
when i am using XP i always set the settings to performance and lost all the xp look .
it works so much better that way.
i assume they will do such an option on vista also

Btw. I am curious, how much memory do you save by booting XP into a windows 2000 looking GUI anyways?

after a little playing i can get windows XP runing after boot + Av + FW with only ~70MB memory footprint total.
and yes it does run more smoothly.
i do it because most of my work is when using games or other software that have their own GUI .
