Will your PC keep pace with Vista?

Now there's a question a lot of us thought about once we read some initial details on Vista.
Will my old (or even new) PC stand tall under the heavy weight of the new upcoming OS of Microsoft :?:

Thanks but no thanks. I will not waste any money on this OS release until many years from now, only when games come out that are Vista only (like Halo 2) that I really want to play will I get Vista, and only then while shakeing my fist at M$. But the info is good none the less for those first adopters out there. I consider OS advancement to be doing more on LESS hardware power, not using it up just because it is there to be exploited.

Well in my line of work I will be using it as soon as it comes out. And if the machine in my signature can not handle it Microsoft is in trouble.

I like advancing with time and improving my hardware and software as much as I can.
The Vista brings a lot of new features and capabilities which I will be more than happy to explore and use.
I am sure I'll check it out once it's out.
