For Star Wars fans, by Star Wars fans, comes a production called Star Wars: Revelations. This fan film is very well done and features CGI that is very remenicient of the original trilogy special effects. It can be downloaded here: http://www.panicstruckpro.com/revelations/

And for the Vulcan in us, Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. This show has been going on for 6 seasons and is starting its 7th! Total episode count is something like 40+ and features excelant acting, special effects and storylines all offered for free! Get all the episodes here:

If you know of any other productions that should be mentiond, please post them! And enjoy!

I've seen the first one, but the star trek one is new to me...I don't think I'm a trekkie...but I just love looking at ship designs lol.

Whats nice about Hidden Frontier is that it is not boring for "Treknophobic" people like yourself. That is, it is very approchable and enjoyable without having seen any startrek before. Sure there are a few inside jokes and references, but mainly it is a better show then most of prime time television imho. And their is plenty of CGI images of ships, which I paticualry like!

oh don't get me wrong, I'm not a treknophobe...I got a few books, and a lot of the action figures and ships...own the first 7 movies and seen every episode of every series except for TOS....but I'm just not one of those ppl who knows the bios of all the characters

Ah, very well, then you very well may enjoy HF, I too have not seen the original series as I do not have cable television and have not been wanting to pay for the DVDs.

Bookmarked!! That was spectacular  , I was amazed by the realness of it, really felt like Star Wars, which I just got done watching not 5 minuets ago. Inventive moves and the end was totally unexpected and cheap, but perfectly funny. Rolling on the floor, force fight over the sabre, reverse grip, great setting, really good light sabre effect (both sound and visually), real emotion, just great! :P

Thanks for the link!
