"HKEPC has compiled an impressive amount (in Chinese, bring a translator of information on AMD's upcoming Socket AM2 processors, including early benchmarks of an AM2 Athlon 64 X2 4800+. The AM2 chip is paired with DDR2-800 memory at 5-5-5-15 timings and run against a Socket 939 X2 4800+ equipped with DDR400 at 2.5-3-3-7. Performance is pretty consistent between the two platforms, but one can't help but wonder if DDR2-800 will be required for AM2 processors to keep up with their 939-pin counterparts."
