Xbit Labs has some more info on the upcoming AM2 CPU's......

"Advanced Micro Devices has quietly published specifications for its yet unannounced microprocessor called AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+. The chip has not been released and is even not listed in the roadmaps, so, the processor may actually be available only for some select customers of AMD."

WOW  That's really great news. As a proud owner of X2 3800+ I'm happy to know that AMD is refreshing the X2 line with a brand new X2 5000+. :D

That is good news. I just bought a X2 3800+ and 939 mobo and was a bit worried my upgrade path would end at 4800+. Now I have to figure out how to be one of their "select customers".
