Now this is becoming serious...
The biggest fear right now is that this virus will become one that is easily transformed among people.
Is the disease getting out of our control?

The biggest fear is that H5N1 will mutate into pandemic influenza virus which is easily transmissible among humans, and ignite a worldwide outbreak like those which claimed millions of lives in the past.
However, experts have repeatedly cautioned that avian influenza at this stage remains mainly just what its name says: a bird disease.

I've seen a fair amount of stuff on this. US says that we can expect it to hit within the year. Other experts say that it won't become a pandemic for who knows how long. All I know is that all this talk is probably fueling the sales of Tamiflu...one of the only drugs that comes close to work against avian flu (supposidly).

Hungary claims to have bird blue vaccine. Anyway, it's quite ridiculous because there are more people dying from regular flu a month
