Abtin Shakouri, a 23 year old student in Santa Monica, California, received word from Dell Computer after sending the company a shareholder proposal in regards to the company offering AMD processors. The proposal sent by Shakouri asks Dell to begin using AMD processors in its future line of destkops, notebooks and servers. The company claims that Shakouri missed the proposal deadline by over a month, so it will not be included in Dell's upcoming proxy statement. From the blog:"
