PCApex GiveAway // x2 Noctua NH-U12s!

How do you enter to win one of the coolers you ask? Simple. Answer a single question. The answer can be found on the product info page for the Noctua NH-U12. "Prasad Sristi was kind enough to give us 3 X1600XT's to giveaway on Driver Heaven. Not only are these cards ideal for your next upgrade or second machine but they are signed by Prasad and Terry Makedon! ... not something you will ever find in a store so bound to be valuable in time to come! If you are reading this from the front page, please head into our forum thread (via "read more") to see some pictures of one of these cards.
To enter it's simple, just post "I want some ATi Lovin'" as many times as you want, and ill close the competition at the end of April - staff are allowed to enter (except admiistration staff). Again no limit on the times you can enter or post count you curently have, but i WILL be watching for script bots and trust me those taking the lazy option will not be winning a card. Why's that if I may ask, or just not that interested in THG anymore...?
I should have mentioned the THG Anniversary contest just a basic fill out the form and answer one historical question about what was Intel's first official product.
And while I'm sure anyone that's ever been to Newegg knows about their contest, I figured there just might be a few that didn't so I added that one into the thread. :)

They pulled some shaddy stuff a few years ago with the owner of another site that was pretty underhanded and it took a few larger sites to help out the little guy.
So now I don't go there, I don't read their reviews nor do I recomend them to anyone. At one time THW was the main site that I read, but that was back before they turned...

The prize this time around is a Swiftech H20-120-P Watercooling Kit and RadBox. We reviewed this kit a long time ago and I actually just found it under a desk, packed away. It was installed twice and has seen a few months of use, but should be good to go! This prize is very DIY, so be prepared for a long installation and to buy some water additive and tubing. The kit is ready for s478 motherboards but with some changes could work with almost any platform. Includes all available mounting hardware, the pump, three blocks, Radbox, radiator, and 120mm fan.
If you don't want to play around with the watercooling system, I don't blame you! It is going to require a lot of leak testing and that sort of thing... There are some other prizes to choose from in case the kit is not for you: Spire 939 CPU Cooler, Arctic Cooling 939 CPU cooler, Crucial Ballistix T-shirt, Steelpad S&S mouse pad, X Ray Technologies Thunder 8 mouse pad, SlickSteel mouse pad... We have reviewed all these so look through the site for more information.

Damn how did I miss out on this one:
Just a quick reminder that we will be holding an IRC chat with ATI this coming Thursday, May 11th, at 2PM EST (7PM GMT). For this, the first of many planned IRC chats with ATI, we will be chatting with Daniel Taranovsky, ATI's X1900-series product manager.
If you have any questions you'd like to ask Daniel about the X1900 you can join the chat by pointing your favorite IRC client toward irc.gamesurge.net and joining channel #rage3d. Information on IRC and how to join our channel are available on our IRC page.
At the end of the chat Daniel will be choosing one lucky participant who will walk away with a Radeon X1900XT graphics card courtesy of ATI!

Last week I had a chance to have a chat with ATI's X1900 product manager Daniel Taranovsky and I asked him some questions about the X1900 series of cards. Click the link above to read the chat I had with him.
Daniel has also got a SIGNED X1900GT video card to give away to a lucky Driver Heaven member. The graphics card is autographed by Rich Heye, ATI Vice-President and General Manager of the desktop graphics business unit. The driver CD is signed by Terry Makedon (ATI’s desktop software product manager), and Daniel signed the box.
Daniel has chosen a number between 1 and 1,000,000 and the person to pick a number nearest to his number in the thread in the forum without going over that number wins the card when the competition closes.
Everyone is allowed ONLY one entry into this competition and ill be closing it on 15th June 2006. If you decide to enter more than once all your entries are void. To enter post your number in this thread in the forums. If more than one person picks the winning number, the person who posted it first wins.
Thread is here: http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=106446&page=1&pp=15 (http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=106446&page=1&pp=15) I suggest anyone that gives it a shot verify someone hasn't used the number ahead of them, a surprising number already have judging by my excel sheet... ;)

Thanks to our good friends at Shuttle and ATI, we have a full system to give away - this will make an ideal media system for one lucky winner.
The hardware comprises:
P4 2.6
512mb Ram DDR333
DVD Rom
80GB HD
x800 All-in-Wonder AGP
There is no Operating system installed.
Unfortunately due to shipping restrictions we can only ship this to a European location so please do not enter if you do not have a european address. Anyone can enter apart from the administration staff.
To enter please post (in this thread) why you should be getting this Shuttle. it can be funny, silly, dumb, amusing ... but above all entertaining! - you can use pictures (keep them clean!), or whatever else you feel will give you a chance to win this lovely little rig - be creative!. The judges (myself, Veridian3) will then upon closing (around the 15th June) pick a winner they feel most deserving.

Just as it says it sounds to me that for anyone who guesses the correct answer wins since it says "cards" meaning more than one and what it says here:
"We are giving away a lifetime of free high-end graphics cardc to anyone who predicts the winner of this year's World Cup..."

Read lower still, under Terms & Conditions :p
Everyone that guesses correctly gets their name thrown into a drawing, and a single winner will be drawn out and then given the lifetime supply of high end cards. Tul Corp couldn't afford to give that many cards out to more than one person.

Prize: AGEIA PhysX card
We've hidden the PhysX logo seen below in a post on the forum. The post could be of any age, in any of the subforums and about anything - it's your job to find it.
As there's a good few posts on our forums, we don't expect you to find it straight away, so every 2 days for the next 2 weeks we'll be giving out clues (in this post) as to where it might be.
Once you've found the logo, you need to e-mail its location to news[at]overclock3d(dot)net. You will then be entered as a finalist into a draw which will take place at the end of the competition.
Conditions
Use of automated tools or tools other than the search function on this forum are prohibited and will result in your competition entry being voided. You can, of course browse the forums manually.
You must be a registered Overclock3D forum member. Click HERE to register for free.
On finding the PhysX image, you must keep its location secret, sending it's location only to news[at]overclock3d(dot)net. Besides, sending it's location to others severely reduces your chances of winning.
Competition winner will be announced on the 21/07/2006. All entries up to this time will be accepted.
Shipping to most countries is free, however, if you live in a remote part of the world, please check with us if any shipping charges will be incurred.
Overclock3D staff are exempt from the competition - sorry lads.
Good luck on finding it through 1000s and 1000s of posts but as of my post, 2 people found it.
EDIT: make that three hehe.

City of Villians - Lord Recluse competition
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We've teamed up with the makers of hit MMOPRG, City of Villians to grab our bits on the chief bad guy, Lord Recluse.
City of Villians allows you to play your inner evil allowing you to work your way up from petty street thugs to mastermind criminals. Pit yourself against Heros and see whether your evil streak and out-wit them.
The statues themselves are limited edition pieces and are unavailable in the shops. Thanks to that and the insanely long claws of Lord Recluse, they are definitely cool bits of evil.
We've got three to be won and taking part couldn't be easier.
All you have to do is answer this simple question:
City of Villians is the sequel to which game?
a> City of Evil
b> City of Heros
c> City of Blood
All answers must be posted on this thread.
Winners will be chosen on 25 August 2006 by a member of the UKGamer editorial team.
The competition is open to everyone, with three separate entries winning a Lord Recluse statue. UKGamer staff are not allowed to take part in this competition.

WOW!!! That's an awesome contest, though it's too bad that you must have two identical cards in order to make that video...:(
I think it's a little bit unfair that these amazing prizes will be going to people who already own 2 video cards in SLI setup...
Anyway, I really suck at video editing and beside that, I don't have two video cards which I can put in SLI...so I guess I'm out of this contest...
Anyhow, GOOD LUCK to those who enter...

If your lucky you could lend the exact same one as yours from a friend, or from a friendly shopkeeper (maybe even two if you put like a thank you [name of the shop] at the end of the vid). And well, if you really wanted to you could buy two cheap cards, or buy another one exactly like yours, because that is what the contest is probably about too, boosting sales.

"SLI memory" isn't marketing hype, actually. When paired with nVidia's 590 SLI chipset, SLI memory will tell the board it's tightest possible specs and the board itself will manage all of the fine tuning & settings... sort of an "auto-overclock" for your memory, except just a little better... ;) SLI memory can also be referred to as "EPP" (Enhanced Performance Profiles), which is
