You already had a catch all category so making a politcs forum is going to "emphasize it?"

I think thats great. Without a moderator, you will find a flame war will break out quickly and then you will get complaints about inappropriate posting and hurt feelings.

With a moderator, you will find a flame war will break out quickly and then you will get complaints about inappropriate moderator control and hurt feelings (smile!).

Trying to find that sweet spot in the middle will be a challenge for you. Your good taste will be more restrictive than what the law requires which other than active armed rebellion against the USA is very free.

Already==I wanted to suggest that "someone" pin the discussion about good websites for information/references/posting ideas. It takes some work, but I think most forums would benefit from some extra organization.
