Not really that much out there in your price range.

I agree with Scott... the card he linked would outperform the ones you've linked to. :)

Part of the problem is that your computer uses AGP type graphics cards, and those are more expensive nowadays because they are being phased out. PCI-Express type cards are what you'll find on new computers now, and those are in many cases faster than what you'll find still out there for AGP.

Either of these would be a big boost over what you have.

Whoa, that x1600 Pro has 512mb on it. Really anything over 256mb for that level of performing wouldn't make much of a difference though...

I looked up some game charts and the 256mb x1600 Pro was able to top a 6600GT in most of the game tests to my surprise. I change my suggestion to XJNine's first link, and the price is still lower than the 6600GT. ;) Nice find there, btw!

Hi! Newegg only ships to US...so sorry about that... ..but...you can always try emailing and asking them if would be able to make an exeption to that?;) Otherwise just look around...I believe there are many other sites who sell the card you would like and who ship internationally too...Good luck! ;)

Go to http://www.sapphiretech.com/en/products/wheretobuy.php (http://www.sapphiretech.com/en/products/wheretobuy.php) and select your country... you'll be presented with a list of local/online retailers :)

Since you are only playing WoW the 6600 is probably your best bet.

I would see if they carry a 6600GT there. The "LE" model is the stripped down part with half the pipelines, lower clocks, and less shaders.

It would be good if you can tell us the prices. If the 6600GT is a bit more go with that. Pretty much all of those cards are slowbut should be fine for WoW.

I hope you are not saying you didn't order this EXACT card, did you???

That is a PCIe card. "PCI Express® x16 lane native support" It is not compatible with your computer, unless you happen to be using a PCI-Express motherboard.

When you said you had been using a MX420 card, I assumed you have a AGP motherboard. You need to check this, and call them up to see if you can instead have them ship you a AGP model of that card, or cancel that order!

My apologies, I should have made sure you had known there was a difference. Older computers use AGP, which is being phased out in place for PCIe capable machines. If you type either of those into google you can get all kinds of pictures of both slots to check your motherboard with.

Ahh, good!

And honestly, I think the cooler on that card is just silly... but at least it should be able to run nearly silent. ;) The 256mb x1600 Pro is a good match for the 6600GT performance-wise.

Silly? You are joking right? lol have you heard of Arctic Cooling's Silencer VGA coolers? They do kickass as they are silent and great performance VGA HSF.

Its actually better that alot of HIS cards come with this style of cooler as it saves people the trouble of getting an aftermarket cooler like the Arctic Cooling Silencer since it alreasdy has one.

Well all of that is true and I'd agree completely... Except that something about that specific cooler, that size and shape keeps reminding me of x1900XT card. It's the exact same thing as seeing huge oversized offroad tires on those small Tacoma/S10/Ranger "trucklets". It's just funny. :D

Single slot coolers are sufficient but nothing is wrong with a 2-slot cooler.
