Nintendo Light Gun Reborn

Nintendo yesterday unveiled the successor to its popular light gun from the 90’s at E3 2006. The new concept design allows users to plug the motion sensitive controller in to the peripheral for use as a targeting system in first person games. The new gun design uses the expansion port located on the bottom of the Wii controller and adds an analog stick on the top of the handle making it ideal for FPS game titles. The device is designed for the new Duck Hunt sequel that is currently on display in Nintendo's booth.

i remember playing that game in the 90's.. hehehe maybe one of my friends will buy it im going for the ps3... The controller is the same as ps2s just with waving capabilities like the revolution, cant wait its gonna be awesome

Yeah, the PS3's motion sensing ability may be in the X, Y, & Z dimensions with pitch/roll/yaw and lateral sensing... But only the Nintendo Wii/Wii's controller is able to "know" it's position relative to the TV screen. That's a important difference when it comes time to play a video game with one of them...

hey u couldve laughed at me when i bought the ps2 the first day it came out for $699 without tax lmfao, it was my only console i ever bought though

I wouldn't laugh at that; I would laugh at the fact he bought a Nintendo console over a 360 or PS3.
