Corsair’s vision of a competent low cost external water cooling kit is a great one. A product such as this should appeal to wide range of consumers. Items such as hassle free quick connects, pre-attached water block hoses, easy priming and a practically tool-less CPU mounting kit should appeal to first time water coolers everywhere. But don’t stop there; the great cooling performance, low acoustics, expandability, compatibility and good looks should appeal to everyone else. This truly is a well rounded kit. If I may use football as an analogy, the Nautilus 500 stops just inches away from the perfect water cooler goal line. Everyone’s perceptions may vary, but due to the nature of the Nautilus’ construction, there is no easy way for the user to perform any under the hood maintenance. While 160 LPH is by no means a poor flow rate, higher is better. For some reason the 350LPH max of the water pump is far from reached. But let’s face it, Corsair was not commissioned to build the perfect water cooler. I walk away from this review very impressed with the Corsair Nautilus 500 External Water Cooling Kit and award MTB's Seal of Approval with a final rating of 9.5 out of 10. If you have any questions regarding this review be sure to visit the Corsair website for more information or discuss them in our forums.
