I guess you meant June 5th...

I wouldnt rush things The_nVIDiA_Guy....because it will be very close if someone asks me...but still Thank You for your kind thoughts/wishes...I wish you all the best too... 8)
Mousiness...do you live in some desert of what? 40 degree celsius? Wow...it will be one of the hottest summers in Ottawa for sure...think watter (cooling that is)...
mousiness
06-01-2006, 08:33 PM
i dont know why its been so hot, the hottest its been here was 42 degrees celsius, too hot, my pcs are heating up from it, maybe, just maybe ill go WC'ing lol
Johnie
06-01-2006, 08:38 PM
42 degrees could seriously heat up pcs muce more than they normally would...but in case you really wanna go for WC'ing...I advice you to rather go for subzero cooling...you know..just in case...just to be on a safe side...(if temperatures rise to 50+ degrees)...

if they do im moving, first it was -40 windchill and now its 42!!!! 82 degrees difference in a matter of one season!
Johnie
06-01-2006, 08:51 PM
Dam*...that surely sucks...so in winter you can run your pcs without any fans and coolers attached (and also OC'ed to the max)...without any fears to fry anything....and in summer you would really need some subzero solution to keep them cool....maybe best thing to do would be to buy some villa somewhere where there is also -40 in summer (antarctica?), and to move there in summer...that way you wont be needing any cooling at all for your rigs...but on the other side...would need plenty of warm clothes for you....
How about on Mars? What about moving there? Or are all estates already sold out? :-D :paw:

I wouldn't say anything definite yet.
Heat isn't a problem no matter how hot and humid when your PC is sitting in a basement :)

Good luck everyone!

Its all good as to who wins; and as long as everyone is happy with the results then I am happy,.... but more so for the winners of course ;)

It's already been said before, but I'll say it again... don't count yourself out quite yet Mousiness. :) It's enough to be anybodies game still, really.

Hmmmmmm...dont know...I would say that you also have good chances of winning something mousiness! Also tomato...and maybe some hidden player too...so counting on all of you guys...cause you were really awesome... 8)
I just wish that all this waiting is over soon (well on 5th of June)...and that winners are announced. I will be more than happy for everyone that win, even if I dont win anything! Really! From all my hearth! Because I know we all did our best...(and if I was the one to give the prizes out...I would send one to everyone of top5 places for example or top10)...buttttt...as I already said a while back...physical things (prizes, money, etc) arent everything...its that all other small (and in many cases almost invisible) things matter...i.e. just like sometimes a "simple" "Thank You" or "I Love You" can say more than 1000 words...and no money or prize can "force" someone to say that if he doesnt really feel and mean so...8-)
So dont be sad even if you dont win anything...just remember the good times we had...lots of laughs...hard (but honest and fair) competitions in arcade games sections...we met new friends....helped eachothers...etc...etc....so why be sad anyway? And like all those reasons werent enough...there is already a new competition on its way....with another set of great prizes...so....dont worry be happy....:-D
Ok enough essays...lets move on.... :paw:

in simpler words winning isnt everything, even if you have all the money in the world and noone to share it with or have friends to be happy with, youre really worth nothing...

I still think mousiness will win, because of the post count, and the photo. It will be nice to replace your 6600GT with a 7900 GT, won't it? But, I might just go and purchase a GeForce 7900 GTX, and be ontop of the top winner.
mousiness
06-02-2006, 01:14 AM
nah if i won i wouldnt want that even though it would be nice, i wanna see how the force feedback works, but if i get the 7900gt id be more than happy to install it!

Exactly! You got the point!
The_nVIDiA_Guy...you lucky lucky guy...why wait then or play in competitions...hahahahaha...when you can easily go and buy even better product...  8-)
Lets wait as werty316 suggested...and see what comes up...Good luck!

Hey those headphones freaking rock, I love my pair. I sent a pair to Bjorn and he is going to review them sometime. The best thing is they are great for gaming but also work real well for music playback. I like to listen to alot of rock and country. Channel 49 on XMS is my favorite and since I jam it loud all the time I use the headphones.
They give my Sony MD-80's a run for the money and when you turn on the force feedback the Sonys get creamed in music.

there will be some people that's going to be really happy. XFX never fail to impress me with their product and the prizes that they are giving our readers.
Scott, you shouldn't hear rock with that headphone, you got to watch your ear:).

Good to hear about them, I just wasn't sure on the cabling thickness on those would be durable enough.
