Yup this months contest is sending you to war. BattleField 2 that is. I am waiting to hear what the prizes are going to be but we are going to have a tournament on our gaming server in towards the end of the month.

I will post server info as soon as we finally have it all setup in the next couple of days.

So get ready soldier, the war is coming!!

Food for thought, what would happen in the case there were only a few players participating? The majority of users in here probably don't play BF2 but I like this idea :(

Dont get me wrong Scott...but I would like to suggest that you choose other game(s) for next gaming competitions like this one (June's)...because by my opinion...not all members have all the latest hardware in their rigs...so others with lower specs cant play games like this one (at least not with reasonable FPS and other details)...and so...the ones with latest hardware have great lead...and also...someone with 2 or 4GB RAM and with some 7800,7900,X1800 or X1900 series GPU wont "respect" the prize (i.e.7900GT) as much as one with older hardware who cant afford latest one would...so the first one would probably just sell the prize and get few 100's of extra $$$...while the other wont even be able to compete fair and square with the first one...and would probably lose...:???: :( :roll: :paw:

I personally dont care much...cause I will skip this one...but it would be nice to either chose other not so much hardware intensive game or maybe find some other way to make it equal for all members/players who would like to join...:wink: (just my opinion)

Yeah I think I might partake in playing some BF2 once of course I get a copy.

I think BF2 is reasonable. You don't need a kickass video card to play it, although it helps.

I was hoping for something else for June Contest, so it came as a little bit of dissapointment for me...

But hey, it's not me who decides what the next contest/rules gonna be and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people will be happy to take part in this contest and win some great prizes offered by XFX and Bjorn3D...:grin:

css youre always looking for headshots, to me bf2 is more fun travelling wise ie. cars tanks jets helis etc. and cs is more of teamwork and you need to be on the safe side all the time unlike bf2 where there is a lot of range.
