Seriously... W.T.F.???!!!! M$ promised full backwards compatibiiity support, only to reneg (sp) on that statement not even one year after the console's release?! Is is that hard to create the emulation software? Geez, I hope Sony or Nintendo (especially Nintendo) doesn't try and pull this bullsh*t...

They really said "full" backward compatibility??? I could have sworn that they only mentioned partial, meaning only some of the titles would play on the 360. This is one of the reasons I haven't bothered to pick up a 360.
Sony, on the other hand, as far as I know, is promising full compatibility all the way back to the original Playstation. This is what I want ;)

Yuck... score another for the PS3.
I had thought I read that MS claimed full backwards compatibility, but I guess I must've imagined it...

Yup... you're right I believe... they never promised full backward compatibility.

Yep

maybe Ms can make a bunch of money by having people buy the upgraded version of the existing games, just like they have been doing with the software:).

Well, maybe M$ didn't promise FULL compatibility, but there are many big XBox titles that haven't made compatible with the 360 as of yet...
Oh, and here's some PR damage control :P

Too late, boys, too late. The damage is done.
