First of all, CONGRATULATIONS for all the winners. And for those who didn't win this time, I'm pretty sure you'll win something over the next contest to come here at bjorn3D!!! :grin:

Anyway, I must admit that I was a little bit shocked/dissapointed that Johnie didn't take the 1st place (or at least the 2nd), as he has never won anything in this site and this Birthday contest, started afterall as a "Olympic Games" contest and Johnie took the 1st place on ALL three games, if I'm not wrong.

I thought that posting like mad won't be getting a higher weight than taking the 1st place in all three games, but I guess I was wrong.

Don't get me wrong, werty316 really deserves his prize (I really mean it, werty...:wink:) but I was expecting the winners list to be a little bit different...:roll: :confused:

And on the other side...Kougar and Mousiness didnt win anything this time...although I believed they surely would or at least one of them...:roll: But...just like gaming part alone wasnt enough to be on final top spot...also the maximum nr. of posts part alone wasnt enough for that...:paw: So you really had to be among the best in all 3 parts to have good chance of winning....8-) I also believe that posting "madness" shouldnt count as much as it did...but hey...rules were as they were...and they were the same for everyone...so I could also post 20 or 200 posts per day if I would like (but I didnt, because I still prefer quality posts over quantity - but that doesnt mean that the biggest posters didnt post quality posts too... :twisted: )

I bet that your card will be fine, it's on a differant generation PCB plus it's not mad at the same plant as the one where the bad cards came from. Mind also has a differant PCB (and differant version) than the China made ones, maybe that why mine is still going strong.

Just put the card in and so far so good but I will wait a bit before it is permanently in my system. I ran 3dmark06 and it ran through all the tests just fine. I checked the voltage regulator and wow it gets damn hot. I think I will do the same that sbrehm did and put a heatsink on it. The 90nm process helped with temps as it ran about 7-10c cooler at load and idle temps was around the same

Only big issue if the fan running at 100% all the time and it is damn loud too.
