WOWWWWWWW!

Now that was fast Scott! Just got a message from Fedex that a parcel is already here...and that they are only waiting for Customs to clear it...8) So hopefully it will be "in my hands" maybe tomorrow or at last by Monday...

Will keep you updated and let you know when I get it...and meanwhile...I would just like to say THANK YOU again Scott, XFX and Bjorn3D! And also best wishes to all members here! You are GREAT! Just keep it on that way and our nice community will surely grow further and become even more recognized and valued! THANKS! 8)

Well the biggest thing you guys can do for me is to get your friends to join the forums and hang out here also. I do not ever want the place to turn into a flame shop, but I would like to have alot more active members than I have now.

So if you can get some friends to join up and partake it would be great.

Hi...sorry for waiting so long, but I am really very busy those days...:(

So here are some pictures as promised...let me tell you that I still havent opened the boxes (actually I opened the GamePad...and it surely has nice grip - so cant wait to try it out in action...but havent opened headset, cause I need to tear that plastic appart if I want to get it out, so will do that later...much nicer to watch it "in the box" for now)...because I need to clean up and rearrange my "computer office" first...to make sure such nice devices will live&work in clean&friendly enviroment... So when I clean and rearrange everything here...I will post more pictures of the devices in action! Just cant wait to hear and play with them...mmmmmmmmmmm...Thanks Bjorn3D&XFX again!

And dont worry werty316...I wont "go deaf" now...no way...I am not like that you know...and also...will surely let everyone I know to know about kindness and all other positive things of Bjorn3D! Hopefully we'll get more member that way too...and have even more fun together later...cause that's what's all about...having great time (lots of laughs) & helping eachothers with thoughts, opinions,etc...

Also best wishes to everyone...and...werty316 and tomato - hopefully your prizes will arive in the following days too...so post your thoughts and some pictures if possible too (and maybe some benchmark results too)...

Thank You all! And like I already said...Best Wishes to all of you in next competitions! Hope you'll all win some Great Prizes soon too!

Werty316....I surely got too exited...hahahahaha....no RunningWatter or Microwave heater tests this time I guess....LOOOOOOOOOL....but maybe we could do some UnderWatter Benchies this time....those headsets surely look like they are watterproof...so I guess they could easily hold it up to some 1000ft under the sea....well...I am going to holidays in August...so I will take'em with me and test them....HAHAHAHAHAHAA....and maybe try to catch some sharks with HeadSet (its Turbo button will surely allow me to shoot harpoons much faster than I would be able to with my bare hands...)

Just kidding guys...but will really try to post more pictures when i finally tear that plastic package appart...:( ...its just that they look so professional this way...so new....so sexy....that it would tear my heart apart when I would need to open those boxes....but hey...when I do that...there will be much more new positive feelings....and much more new things to try out....mmmmmmmmmmmmm....so in every "bad" thing....there is some bright point too...8) :-D

Ok...enough...just stay tuned...and meanwhile...practice BF2...cause there is competition coming up on 24th....Good Luck!

Johnie: so now that you have had the time to break-in your new toys, what do you think of them? Is the headset worth recommending?

tomato
07-08-2006, 05:45 PM
So, like Das said, have you had the time to try out your new toys? Inquiring minds want to know ;) :)
I am interested in perhaps getting a headset and/or controller (for playing the more console-ish games, and the XFX products are definitely on my list of possibilites...

borschtBomber[SS]
07-09-2006, 04:45 AM
Yeah, I'm quite curious about the XFX game pads too. I need to get one, but while I like Logitech's offerings, its always nice to have variety. And I like to read user's comments on them rather than just professional reviews.

OK OK OK...calm down a bit people....pleaseeeeeeeeeee...

So since you all asked so politely...let me tell you that although I still havent opened the boxes....(yes i know...silly me...hahahaha)...but I still have them here (so dont intend to sell them as some people here would)...and...you actually "convinced" me that its really the last time to test 'em....and thats why I will now try to find some appropriate games to test headset and also gamepad,ok? :-D

So expect my answers (although I already know that they'll work flawlessly!) tomorrow or on Wednesday at last (hopefully).

Best wishes,

Johnie.

Lord help me if I ever start having boxes of my "winnings" still lying around even ten minutes after I receive them. You must live in a Best Buy warehouse not to ever get around to opening them.

How did you guess? HAHAHAHAHAHA...actually I live in Walmart...

Yes...you seem very impatient...but in my case...i rather wait and prepare everything (cause I had lots of mess here in my office lately)...because i wouldnt want that all such great stuff later lies all around and someone steps on it by some "accident"....got it mr.D?

Just wait as I said...and I will gladly tell you more about XFX's golden products...:-D

Thanks werty...I was thinking of that too...but forgot to mention it in my previous post....so meanwhile you (Das and others) might look around too...but as borschtBomber[SS] said...I know that its better to get first-hand opinion rather than from some professional reviews only...so I'll really try to do my best and tell you my thoughts and feelings about them...

Thanks for the links, but I would prefer to hear his own opinions. Professional reviews always lack that down and dirty opinion that I value. When was the last time a review said a product was total ****?

But then again he is giving his opinion of XFX products on an XFX site, so maybe he too will be a bit biased.

werty316
07-10-2006, 04:51 AM
Yeah I guess a regular user won't be biased like a reviewer.

If a review ever said the product he was given to review was a POS, that reviewer most likely would never get another product for review from that company again.

That's the same reason why I frequently doubt the objectivity of certain reviews, certainly when they don't just go out and buy the product to test out.

Yeah, but going out buying it themselves would hurt your bank account, if you had to test the newest hardware every time:S
