Hello admins,

Could you please install the vBux mod? http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=109770&highlight=vbux

It's kind of like MyBB's Cash mod, which is on my forum, and users get points for there post, the more charecters, the more points also. :)

is till dont see the point of this point calculation method maybe for bjorn3d ina year whoeevr rakes up teh most points gets a prize??? maybe

Wouldn't that be the same as the person with the most posts since you get points for posting?

Eh, while this probably wouldn't lead to sudden rash of "junk" posts here, still all someone has to do is past incredibly huge chunks of a news or review article to cheat that system.

No, because you can set the points to be added by characters, voting in a poll, making a poll, and such.

At least, that'h hot it is in MyBB's Cash mod. I think it the same or better with vBux. :lol:

I don't know what you mean by "characters" maybe if you explain it more I could understand what you mean by that. Another forum which is nonexistent used a similar system where you trade in points from posts and trivia games for small prizes but what would you really expect here?

I'd assume it would simply be for prestige? To turn it into a rewards sort of thing would just be asking for abuse IMO. But that's just my opinion...

By character, he means any letter or number. Like an "a" or "7" would both be one character.

Well, it woulden't be rewards, it would be just like an enhanced post count. The more time you spend posting, the more points.
