I purchased this videocard a few months ago thinking I would use it in my future Linux system. But as it turns out the PC I bought to play with Linux on has a built-in video card...so I have no use for this one. This is legacy PCI, not PCIe.
Works great, guaranteed.
Price is $19. (Inludes shipping to US only, if you're in Canada let me know and I'll recalculate. I'll ship it by USPS.)

compared to an integrated system (64MB) on my celeron 700mhz processor, with the 8 series chipset, would it be much better performing than my current system? oh yeah and 256mb
I honestly don't know. I'm just selling it. You'll have to do the research on your own.

Well put it this way, its a 7500 so don't expect mind blowing performance ;)
Just let me know if you want it and it's yours. I'll have to find a way to calculate shipping since it would be going to Canada, I assume. PayPal is best for me, though I do accept cashier's check or money order. No personal checks, thanks.

i just want better performance than an 8 series integrated, i know it wont be mind blowing as my 6600GT OC is crap

What an 8 series? ATI 8 series like 8000/8500? I don't think it matters as it is still dated technology. I would only use a 7500 PCI as a backup in case my PCI-E has problems.

The 7500 is probably faster in that case.

It should be better than anything "integrated", especially from that timeframe of a P3 Celeron.
At least until the newer ATI/Intel integrated GPU chipsets appear, anyway. Those should theoretically leave even my 9600XT in the dust...

And, it's only $19 bucks. ;) Shipping shouldn't cost more than that. In fact it should cost around $10 to ship to you, mousiness.

yes i know its gonna end up to be only 30 bucks but i just wanna be sure and its just a pc my sisters fool around with, im just wondering if it will make the overall pc run faster just like normally when a 7800GTX is paired with lets say an fx-60 on integrated system

Well if you can find a very old came that you can bench the 7500 compared to your onboard video the 7500 should be a noticable difference.

well then ill think about it, maybe a 9250 would make an even bigger difference

I say buy it for a back VGA card because it is very dated and any performance won't be seen with todays games as you can't even play them with a 7500 or 9250.

While you might notice a difference betwene those cards, I still think the overal or total performance will be fairly minimal in the whole scheme of things. The PCI bus is to severly limited, before other devices like ethernet were routed over the PCI bus even.

Here's some benchmarks with a Radeon 7500 compared to some other cards. Running on a 2ghz machine so yours will obviously run slower but you can get an idea of where the performance stands in respect to other cards. Compared to your integrated graphics it would be a huge upgrade.

thats what i was thinking from just an 8 series integrated a 9250 would be like adding a 7900GT to my p650
