The site/forum clock is off by nearly 15 minutes.
All of my clocks, computers, and router get their time from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Your site seems off by almost 15 minutes.

Yeah it is off for me too by about 15mins. No big deal though.

Except it is simple to fix, and I had to wait until 12:15AM to start posting all of these topics for you to reply to.

Fixed.

I wonder if this was why the "New Posts" link wasn't showing all the new posts/replies, due to some timestamp confliction? Hmm

Its still off by a minute,... lol jk no its right on time now ;)

I don't see why it would.

lol waiting is hard part.

This is why I think that the "post like a mad man" contest is a bad idea. Poor old werty is going to suck down coffee and no-doz for the rest of the month so he can reply to every post here.

An off-topic suggestion: Have the next (small prize) contest be a "invent the best contest" contest. So that we can get people brainstorming some ideas.

Having a small prize would be hard considering XFX primarily makes VGA cards although a small prize contest could be a headset and controller.

I'll think of some ideas later.

So you don't deny that you are sucking down coffee and eating no-doz for the next month so that you can reply to each and every post?

You have time to start thinking of ideas; because I'm going to start a topic about it that I know you will be leaving a reply to.

No coffee and after all its only the first day.
I could probably come up with some ideas.

Its all good but whats a contest without competition?

mousiness

sure why not, this isnt a life or death matter now is it? and plus we dont want anyone starting to have "beef" or fight and then get banned now would we? so unless youre life depends on it IMHO i dont prefer to have too mcuh compeetition, unless its good old freindly competition

Das Capitolin

I agree the being competitive is good in most cases. I just don't like the idea of having to out-post everyone else. At some point, quantity overcomes quality.

And that is why I REALLY enjoyed the BF2 day competition. It was fun, I could frag people, and everyone was okay with it. In the end there were no grudges, and everyone seemed to really come together.

You should have downloaded a cracked version; I think BF2 uses a serial check for protection so all you need is a valid CD key to play but I am not 100% sure.

and about the topic, i didnt even know the clock was 15 minutes behind, as amatter of fact i dont even pay attention to it much, so i dont get the big deal unless you were doing last-minute tune-ups on your items to show how much you love b3d and even then im sure scott and bjorn would cut you some slack

*whistles innocently*

I got as far as installing BF2 and validating with a keygen. Kept getting a "Insert CD" message though as it would not recognize a mounted CD image. At that point I shrugged and removed all of it, as honestly if I wanted the game that badly I'd have just bought it. I wasn't going to burn what I needed to a DVD disc, although I spotted what I would have needed to burn a working disc if I had wanted to. I assumed since no cracks or anything else of that nature was involved, that playing online would have then worked.

I've never played any of the BF games though, it'd have taken me months to get to a decent ability for such a contest... ;)

*goes back to whistling a random DLed tune*

same thing over here thats why i couldnt participate in the previous contest, but i find this technique good in keeping people who didnt buy the actual CD away from this software, its mean but it sure does work, my "props" or congrats in white talk to the creators of bf2 creating such a nice game with amaiZing protection to people who download this game for free

Ok, losers. There have been 26 (now 27) posts in a thread about the time clock being off by fifteen minutes. Are you guys really that desperate for posts? Invent a new thread, because the time is not that exciting.
