View Full Version : My Apologies

Guys,
Since joing BJ3D I've been way less than my usual active self in the forums, this is primarily because all I seem to do anymore is write reviews (Blame Scott  ) and do work behind the scenes (Blame Scott  ).
I'm going to try and become more active in the forums, but Scott has limited my participation to 15 minutes a week (including bathroom breaks). I guess I've finally proven myself as the orginal limation was 10 minutes a month (also including bathroom breaks).
Scott knows two words: "MORE REVIEWS" but with 15 minutes a week and not drinking any fluids I should soon break 200 posts (werty316's daily average).
Again, my regrets!

Is Scott treating you like a sweat shop worker now?

Reviewers get runned into the ground? I'll keep that in mind in the future.

Scott and I were meant to cross paths, he likes lots of reviews posted on the site and I like writing lots of reviews! I have been remiss in posting and will get way more active.

hehehe, Miles, wri5ing tons of reviews will potentially attract a lot readers and a lot of them will join the forum and enter the contest and posting, so you are doing a heck of job for the site's forum:).

Hmm, tried threatening to not send any of the reviewed hardware his way maybe? I'll be sure to blame Scott regardless... only on or after the 1st of August.

Man he makes it out a lot worse than it is. And I get him lots of cool toys to play with. He also has the advantage of not having kids to take care of which I have 3.
Just to show I do not slave drive this is his latest review which you can preview today: http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=936&pageID=2366&Content_Random=8545
Hell it is only 25 pages. Kind of lazy of Miles to write such a short story.
WOW, I remember reading part I.
Great review and a very interesting read...
Keep up the good work, Miles!
We hope to see you more around the forums...

Mile, thank you for such a well written review! I actually spent almost an hour reading through it (printed it and took it to the girlfriends' family BBQ).
I cannot imagine the amount of time a thourough review such as this part 2 could have taken. I am thinking that this might actually be the longest hardware review I have ever seen in my whole life. Thankfully, I purchase around a dozen RAID adapters a year for various projects; so I think I am set for the next several months. :paw:

Intense review man! That review stuff take a ton of time even for simple components and I've always appreciated it when I found a well written review that seemed to lack bais. This is one of few sites I look at when looking for PC reviews. I took a stab at writing a reveiw years back and it is tougher than I ever figured it to be. Take a bunch of time also.
Great job Miles.

But that doesn't mean you are off the hook for not posting some opinions in the forum. Just wait right there while I bring out the gimp.

being a reviewer needs a lot of dedication as far as i know. It's very time consuming work and you can't just say after a month "i don't like it, i'm quitting" as i am pretty sure your editor wouldn't be very pleased with that.
BTW thumbs up miles! :)
