Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Diary, Delay (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/42853)
Over at GameSpy you can find the first Enemy Territory: Quake Wars development diary (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/enemy-territory-quake-wars/717741p1.html). In this opening installment, lead game designer Paul 'Locki' Wedgwood writes about the challenges of balancing asymmetrical team-play multiplayer. The diary also mentions a delay for the game (though the game never has carried an official release date, a late 2006 release was expected): "To ensure the quality we want, we've decided to push the release out of 2006 to allow for extended testing, feedback and game balancing."
Can't say I'm really saddened by this at all as I need time to prepare for the game anyways.
