Many sites I glanced at that do not show these in stock yet have the price locked at or around $1050 and shipping. So aye, this be price gouging pure and simple, make a quick $310 extra profit guaranteed. Gotta love NewEgg... :roll:

Well, they never got a chance to sell out, despite being up there for 6 or more hours. It seems someone wasn't happy with NewEgg jumping the gun, because the X6800 has been completely removed from their website now.

A Canadian Etailers still has the Core2Duo listed of their website with a "ETA:No Date Information Available. New item. Awaiting first shipment to arrive." message :)
