What about some more smilies for the site? If you see one you like let me know...the only requirements are that is be freely downloadable and not have any license restrictions that prevent us from using it.

Well, we could use a much larger array, that much is for sure.

I personally like the devil in flames, and the the shootout. I think we should place as many as we can gather in the smilies bin.

On second thought, is there a third option, where we have no smilies at all? I used to totally hate them, but now a sometimes use them to convey sarcasm or a mood. I could live without them, but I know some people abuse these poor little bastards. Or can we make it so that only one smilie per post is allowed?

I was thinking the same thing when reading the previous posts, I know a forum where they use that kind of restriction. I'd say max 3 smilies a post.

There is already a limit of 13 or 15 per post, or thereabouts. Found that out when I was testing to see which ones worked or didn't... ;)

The only smilies I find myself wanting is a :P smily, that doesn't look like a happy face/grin :-P

The only others might be the thumbs up / thumbs down icons, but that's it for me... Well, maybe some sort of smily with a SPAM sign too, I suppose.

yes, another smilie for :P would indeed be appropriate, i'm not too fond of the current one too. I'd suggest something more in the style of msn's :P

I do like the option of having many smileys to choose from... but I don't want to see a ton of smilies clutter up the forum either... a potential double-edge sword here... I'm think that sticking to the basics would be best here... but we do need a :P smile ;)

I have attached most of the standard ones that could be replaced imo.
