We traded, and discovered that we had the same links. You posted that you found all ten, so I opened the opportunity to others. If you lied about finding all ten, then so sorry.
You didn't even want to help me with the AGEIA contest, and put down the idea of helping in this one. Go start F@H and I will send you the list; it will take you only ten minutes.

I think its the process of actually do that which will make a Folding contest not so wild in some people's eyes. I tried Folding a while back and its not hard at all and even the console was easy to set up like the GUI verison. I guess its just a matter of wanting to Fold for some. Its something different.

No, that wasnt what i ment... The point is if you have a faster computer then it will process Folding faster and if you have a slow computer it will process folding slower... So those of us that dont have a great computer or dont have 15 friends running F@H for us, dont really have a chance. I'll do it because it's for resarch but i probably wont even get close to winning something...

Anything over 600mhz should run F@H well enough... the catch is running a full P3 system sucks up juice, but you don't get nearly the performance of a newer model system that sucks up roughly the same amount of power, if not less.
For what I had to pay in electric bills with my two P3s and 1ghz Tbird running, it would be smarter to instead spend the money I would of paid towards the electric bill into a power efficient, lean Conroe PC with an Active PFC PSU (Extra power efficiency under loads). It would use less electricity, yet would still get get more F@H work done than all three of those old systems combined.

Well, to counter that point: I don't have all the spare time that you and Werty have to post in this forum. In fact, I think I might be only one of maybe six people who can post here on a daily basis. So measure the contest in that regards. At least everyone has a computer, so everyone can fold.

When going through the whole website you can miss one or two like I did but found them later.
And watch out for 404 errors, if you get one of them you can count on theres a ribbon on that page. But the servers are probably more stable now, I got loads of 404 errors when I searched for the ribbons :S and remeber to check links of links. :)

The 404 errors are most likely due to the server being hammer with users trying to find the ribbons. Don't expect all 404 error ridden pages to have a ribbon.

*coughs* The only 404 errors I saw, were when I was pasting in URLs... and the ".asp" was missing off the end of the URL link. Adding the .asp made the 404 errors go away... ;)

hmm, weird. I got them several times, most of the times it was a specific page. I I read the EVGA forums, and they said it was probably because of a lot of users.
The errors were a long time ago and was only that one day when i was searching, so if they are gone great:wink:

Heh, I had the exact same thing. Until I as well found out to put .asp after the url, worked like a charm :-D

Dinner with Jen-Hsun Huang – Co-Founder, President, and CEO of NVIDIA.
(Travel and accommodations provided by EVGA.)
Thats all it says for the grand prize and you would figure if they did give something else with the dinner they would have listed. I highly doubt you get anything else.

Yeah, it DOES SAY SO, only dinner with the "president"...but it seems strange too me that it includes only this. I'm pretty sure eVGA/president himself will come up with something by the end of the meal ...though I might be wrong...

I've never been a fan of Prince of Persia series, but let's wait for it to arrive, maybe I'll play it.
I liked playing "Tomb Raider: Legend" a lot...and this one should be similar...and beside that, the graphics should be very good.

heh, I actually did win something. a 1-Month ESEA Premium Membership, had no idea what it was, went to the site and seems to be some kind of paying game community. I hope if I claim the prize I don't get bound to any contract or anything (now that would be gay)

Or even worse, It turns out to be a game that you get hopelessly addicted to ..like some do to WOW. I've lost many good soldiers over there at CDU to that damn game when they offered that first month free. It was genius to offer a free month.... much like a drug dealer.
