It appears as though there is room on the side of the forum table for a random photo slideshow, just like on the website.
Not that I am showing off or anything.

Could be cool, but i like the way there is no distraction on the left hand side. :D

And that would be where? As for the moment I don't see any space unused on the page:confused:

Like on the right side where you have the XFX and HIS and Crazypc.com banners. This would be pictures on the left side just like the banners on the right.

There was not much unused room at all, until I changed my desktop resolution to 1600by1200. Now there is plenty of room... for almsot all webpages. ;)
It's all relative to the viewer's set resolution, and at 1280by1024 there wasn't that much room, or at least with my broswer config as that probably cut some of the spare room off.

Running 1280x1024 right now, and there is room but not a lot. Thats why i want to keep this setup ;-) or at least till i get a new screen :)

Well, it would be pretty annoying to have to scroll to the right everytime. And I don't think getting the ads away is a viable option as they are a source of income for bjorn3D. So I don't think it's that good of an idea, atm most people are running 1024x768 and you really don't have any spare room at that resolution.

Just checked at 1024x768 and there is room, but it isnt a matter of room is it. Its a matter of us wanting to make the website dense and messy. I vote NO
This is why i like the forums, only the needed banners are there and the rest is clean.
--EDIT--
Sry, was checking 1280x768. With 1024x768 there is no room at all.

I wasn't thinking about it for the left side, I was thinking about putting it in place if the Server Matrix graphic, or under the ads.

If it was under the ads on the right I wouldnt care:D The apps are disturbing the right side anyway ;-)

Under the adds woulds be alright, but I don't think scott would be willing to put them instead of the adds. To be honest, the slideshows are rather useless while the adds make a profit to run this forum/site.

I am not suggesting them to replace the adds. I suggest them under it.

I think its fine the way it is as the "random slides" can been seen in the "gallery" section and "main page" so its not a big deal really.

That would get the amount of "white space" under the forums even bigger than it is now. Now I'm thinking of it, why not put it there?

I'm not really for the idea of potentially more graphics to the website that may or may not slow it down... sorry but there's enough stuff on each page as it is ;)

Head to the gallery or main page if you want to see the slideshow; how hard is it to do this?
