Are you guys checking out my daily deals? I am just curious if you find them usefull.
Also if you are buying stuff from newegg and would like to help out send me a PM with the link of the item you are wanting to buy. I will then send you back the link with Bjorn3D's code in it. This will earn the site some money and help keep the lights on around here.
Also you can use the Pricegrabber link to price stuff it helps us out also. Let me know if these are helpful.

Scott, I wish you had reminded me sooner. I order equipment from NewEgg almost every single business day, and I remember you telling us about this earlier. I will have to start using this, so that I can possible get a better deal, and support the site. I will PM you for the information.

Well at this point the newegg deal using Bjorn3D code helps the site. If we get to a point where enough sales are going thru with our code we will get even better price breaks.
Right now the Deals I post from them are off their special pages. So anything you put in with the code will help the site plus I am picking there deals. But the code can be used on anything from them.

Scott, do you have a deal with newegg's Canadian affiliate, ncix.com? Just curious, as I cannot order from newegg. They won't ship to Canada :(

Canadians are always never included when it comes to good computer deals.

Ohhhhh... disregard the PM I sent to you asking this very question then.
However, I order nearly every day from NewEgg, so get ready for some hits, almost to the same magnatude as my folding.

Honestly I don't use the deals section much, because I'm rarely in the market for laptops, desktops, and huge screen monitors. Same with webhosting and trips with Orbitz. ;) I noticed a few good deals mixed deeply in there though... how easily doable would it be to catagorize the deals page into general sections? It should help attract users if they can quickly sift through the deals for whatever they might be specifically looking for... most deal based websites don't offer this either, so it ought to be one advantage over them.
Whenever I decide on starting my future computer upgrade and I end up purchasing anything from NewEgg, I'll make a note to send a PM your way. :)

Thing is most deal based websites don't want you directly to find what you're looking for. While looking you tend to see other things that might interest you. A lot of shops use that too, over here in belgium there is this big supemarket chain (something like wallmart in the US i guess) which changes the whole shop ever few months just so you can't walk right to what you want. So you kind of have to look where they placed it then and in the meantime you might find new products which they've started carrying over those months.

Kougar - there's actually a couple different "Deals" going on right now on the site.
The "Great Deals" page is handled by Got Apex and while I'm not sure how much we get for stuff there it's a bit. Then we got PriceGrabber where any search does help (again, might also help when you buy). Last but not least we got the Newegg deals Scott has started to post. I think those are "pay when someone buys" kind of deals which means that if you plan on buying something at Newegg you canhelp Bjorn3D by getting the link from Scott which refers to us.
So it's not just the Deals page where you have to hunt for deals. Also Pricegrabber and Newegg where you actively select something help us.

Thanks for the explanation SwedBear. :) I didn't catch Scott was adding in some of his own NewEgg deals...
Got Apex is a pretty good site I would often frequent, but if they are piping the feed here then I'll simply check it here. The same with Pricegrabber, as I previously had been using THG's plug-in, but since it's again the same feed I'll just check it here.
For anyone else that plans to purchase anything from NewEgg, Scott has posted (http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showpost.php?p=42828&postcount=1) a sticky on how to use the Bjorn3d URL with your order. Just takes two seconds to tack it onto the URL... :)

I use PriceGrabber all the time (daily), and order from NewEgg at least twice per every week. I would expect to start seeing some hits coming back to the site very soon.

I'm sorry to say that I don't normally use either Newegg or Price Grabber. I guess I could click on the Price Grabber link from time to time to help out though.

Had no idea about this. I'll definately throw that in there the next time I order from the Egg. :D Anything that can help is worth the extra second.

Although I placed an order elsewhere recently, I will keep this in mind in the future if I ever have to order anything from newegg, but it's not as often either.
