Hello XFX:

I will be using two XFX 7900GT's in an SLi environment, but I noticed that the package contents did not include a connector. How should I go about purchasing/receiving such a connector?

Thank you in advance, and keep up the great work! ;-)

Comes with your motherboard.

BUT, if anyone has an extra SLI Bridge laying around gathering dust, I would be more than happy to take it off of your hands ;)

Comes with your motherboard.

Ah-ha! I didn't know that was the case for all manufacturers. I though it was only for the two which I have built SLi rigs with. Ok then, feel free to close the thread.

If they aren't included with video cards obviously there come packed with motherboards  You don't read any motherboard reviews?

So does this mean you got the cards? Post some pics to make every drool ;)

Speaking of these connectors - I hate it when each mobo-maker makes slightly different connectors (in width). I've managed to loose one or two and that sucks when you want to go SLI with a mobo. ASUS however, with the nForce 5 mobos, have done the right thing. Their connector has a flexible middle which means it fits in any motherboard regardless how far/close the cards are. Full marks to ASUS for that!

Well, asus probably only did that so it would fit on all their sli-boards.
I wouldn't see why a manufacturer would make it adjustable otherwise, it's only supposed to fit on the board you purchased. (it doesn't make sense to buy a board for the adjustable bridge just to put it on an other board eh, and yes I know the one from your older board might then come in handy when you lose the bridge from your new one, but you're not supposed to lose it so.... And I'm pretty sure it's possible to get a new one from your mobo manufacturer.)

When looking for a replacement bridge please contact your mainboard manufacturer. I cannot speak for any one maker but when I needed one my self I asked the tech support at MSI and they sent me one for free. It can't hurt to give this a try.
