i have a audigy 2 value and a 5.1 speaker setup. about once a day my system resets to 2.1 speaker setup. i have it set to 5.1 in windows and 5.1 in creative.
this is driving me nuts. i have done fresh installs of xp and i have all the latest and greatest updates for all software and hardware. i also have 2 copies of xp on seperate drives and they both do the same thing with the speakers.
i am wondering if there is a registry hack or something that will lock it at 5.1 no matter what happens.
i think i am going to change my soundcard to the new razer one when it is release as i am not all too impressed with the audigy 2.
