Sorry to say this but any BIOS won't help a FX5200 performanace wise as it is an old video card and manufacturers don't make new BIOS files for dated hardware. OC'ing is your only option.

well im not trying to get a brand spanking new bios, just a newer one, and im looking to hopefully unlock some options that werent available in teh old bios
my card runs up to par with my brothers 6200 OC but mine is almost done for...im just trying to squeeze out every drop of my computer because fear isnt good enough yet(ill get the settings for you ina bit:wink:)
i guess its like flogging an old horse, but that even gets out a little bit more
i need every ounce
im too atached and poor(mainly poor) to give up this card now:(

Playing FEAR with a FX5200 is a bit far fetched.
I couldn't handle a game with these settings:
This user has a FX5200 also.

At the risk of voiding your warranty, you should read up on how to edit and modify your own BIOS, rather then looking for a new one.
You could also start folding for the F@H project, make 50 decent posts, and you could win TWO XFX 7900GT's!

Since he said he is poor trying to win those cards sounds out of the question.

I can't remember if there is a ingame hotkey to take screenshots. Take a look in the "options" under controls or whatever the option is to change/look at the controls. You could try the "Print Scrn" key but I am not sure if it works.

Most games use the "Print Screen" key to save a screenshot to a folder somewhere.
Since he said he is poor trying to win those cards sounds out of the question.
This months contest takes nearly no effort at all. If his computer is on for at least two hours a day, he can make a few posts while it folds. This is all he needs to be entered into the contest. I think he could win.

He said he is poor and he would have to buy a new motherboard, CPU, and PSU.

A FX5200 can handle 4x FSAA? What resolution? 640x480? Does it run smooth?
Run the in game benckmark if you can as I am curious as to what frames you are getting.

If you gonna post the in game benchmark score maybe put a bigger pic. 320x240 resolution pics are kinda small.

oh yah i forgot to mention that im running dual monitor with media player on the other screen(just in the library) so i can see wuht songs next and when to skip etc. waddya think?
im surprised that i can set my cpu settings to max for a 1.6ghz also
it runns really smooth in Mplay but in single play it gets jus a lil bit laggy around the special effects

71% below 25
19% between 25 and 40
10% above 40
but thats singleplay it runs a hella lot smoother in mplay idk why
but even those scores are smooth enough for me, the stress test is always harder than teh game i can never tell a difference between 30 and 100 anyways

I don't know if a video card memory has any sort timings but if they did I don't think you can mess around with them. Only tweaking you can do is overclock the video card.
System memory timings can be found in the motherboard BIOS.
