In 1 weeks time we have climbed from 560 to 459. We have only 33 active Folding Members. Join us on our goal to be #1. HardOCP better watch out because we are coming.

Those are great news, Scott!
I sure hope we'll see such improvment constantly and conquer the top if possible ;)

Well we can just keep trying, I am going to tie Folding to all future contest. And we are going to do alot more of just the lottery type stuff so it should bring us more folks.

very good Folding is good for the entire world and not only the winner
i really hope we can make some diffrence.

It's nice to see some new names on the team. I was getting lonely with a only six other active people folding when I started early last month.

I see that XJNine is trying to fight me off of his position at the top. It will be a matter of time before I am the king of the hill.

I am getting things ironed out with my folding clients, so I should be a team contributor on a large scale for a very long time. :paw:

I've had to drop one of my folders for a short period of time (work calls), but I've still got 2 folding 24/7 and the 3rd should be back in a day or 2 after I finish up with some results.........;)

As other teams stop folding, or die out, we will keep moving up. We moved over 100 positions from my first month of folding alone <patting self on back>.

This is exciting, nice to see a growing team!

As far as linking any contests with Folding, that is very cool. I, for one, do not mind making some kind of contribution to have a chance at a nice prize. If I don't get a prize, I can still feel good about contributing. Everyone wins that way.

My grandmother died of Alzheimer's, my mother and two aunts of lung cancer. In addition, my boyfriend just graduated last month and is entering a Ph.D. program iin cellular biology research. Protein folding is very relevant to his work. Anything that I (or my computers) can do to further the research is great.
