Holy smokes! Is that 40% off of the new slashed prices?? X1900XTs are at $300 now, XTX's shouldn't be that much more.
I'd say sure as heck go for it! Unless you can get 40% off of the x1950XTX that is released on the 14th of next month...

I have decided to get one for now, than sell my mobo/cpu/mem and grab a core 2 duo, along with some ddr 2 mem and get me an x-fire mobo and run with it, first i guess i should see if i can get any other PC stuff for really cheap from the manufacturer due to my job lol...

GOOD LUCK with your purchase, the_gimp!!! I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your new X1900XTX...
I think that I would do the same, buy a single X1900XTX and later on a Core 2 Duo, as these Core-Duo CPUs are AMAZING!!!
Layer on, you can always buy additional X1900XTX to run it in Cross-Fire (when you'll have the money, of course)...

The x1900xtx is actually on backorder so I have to wait at least 2 weeks so I was thinking about buying like a 6200 for the time being, and than ordering an x1950xtx when they go on sale
