Overclock that Q6600 for one.
its at 3 :P
have no time now, should i disable physx to get a lower score? or leave it enabled (dont no how to do it anyways)
ill try 3.4 tomorow or maybe 3.6 i
new run 3/4 Crossfire 4870x2 845/930 4870 750/900
CPU 3.996
22106
This is the best I've been able to get out of the 4870 Toxic so far on air cooling.

Looks real good bio :) ... i havnt tried the 4870 on the core i7 yet .
HOW COME GAMES LIKE THE LATEST CALL OF DUTY APPEAR TO RUN AT HIGHER FPS ON THE XBOX 360 THEN THE FASTEST COMPUTER GRAPHIC CARD? (SEE ARTICLE TITLED Nvidia GTX-260 Core 216 VS ATI 4870 1GB 5 Game Shootout)
I HEARD THAT SILLY BILLY INSISTED THE GAMES RELEASED ON THE XBOX RUN WITH THE AAA AT LEAST 4 TIMES. IS THIS TRUE
STEF
The new 180.48 drivers have helped me. The following on my XFX 680iLT with E6750, 4GB 800DDR2 and 2*XFX9600GT. Previous driver was the 178WHQL.
SLI, no PhysX: CPU 4535, GPU 7750, overall P6583
SLI, PhysX: CPU 18694 (was 18923), GPU 7720 (was 7251), overall P9048 (was P8573)
No SLI, No PhysX: CPU 4659, GPU 4009, overall P4154.
So SLI scaling well and a big boost from PhysX to CPU score.
If I run the CPU at 3GHz in SLI with PhysX the scores are as follows:
CPU 19347, GPU 7723, overall P9088
The new 180.xx drivers were redone with SLI in mind so they scale better with SLI. In some cases much better.
The first true PhysX game, Mirrors Edge, will be out Q1 2009 I believe so we'll get to see what is up with real life application of PhysX.

I was surprised i got such a higher CPU score even though my CPU is 600 mhz slower than the Q9550.
nice job Tony but the 8 threads on the core i7 is superior
Keep them scores coming, I know there's alot more in your system than that...............;)
Just tried a suicide run of 850 core, and it only made it half way through the second test. :frown:
To hot, you might need better cooling on the card.
