That would be nice to have!
I was grandfathered in on the AT&T unlimited data for $30, so for that price I might as well tether it to my laptop when I'm on the road too. And jailbroken, it's not a regular tether. I can USB tether it so I don't lose battery on the phone, or I can turn it into a WiFi hot spot, connect whatever I want to it. It even has WEP encryption available. I know WEP is crap, but it's still better than nothing. It at least keeps the average joe's from cruising on my homemade network.
I use a android the LG-P500 really great phone
I've been using Samsung Omnia II GT-i8000 Windows-Mobile 6.5 for over a year now and been thinking about upgrading to iPhone 4.
I've always been an ANTI-APPLE guy, but since I decided to purchase an iPod Touch 4g about 2 months ago and I've experienced its smoothness, fast operation, great functionality, amazing responsiveness and wide range of Apps.
And then, I suddenly became a fan of Apple iPhone :) Even though I still think Google Android phones are getting very popular and they're quite good, I still prefer the iPhone.
But...since I heard that iPhone 5 is about be announced in June-July, I decided to hold myself and probably get the iPhone 5 when it comes out.
I must admit that I'm still undecided between the iPhone 5 (to be available around July-August) or the Samsung Galaxy S II (to be available around May)...
What do you think???
Just say no the dark side Luke!
Go for the Galaxy!!
Really??? Thanks for the advise...Even though I'm quite 'locked' on the iPhone 5, I'll take your advice into consideration when both phones will become available...
Is it just me or it seems that most forum members don't use iPhone???
Waiting to hear some more opinions...
I use an AT&T Motorola Razor V3. this makes the 4th or 5th one tho' technically that wrong since this one, and the last one, were built out of parts of the other 3 + one T-mobile razor.
Now the very proud owner of a T-Mobile Galaxy S.
I'm stuck with a Nokia 5610 until I can renew my contract and get something new
I'll get my Motorola Defy tomorrow, so I voted Android 2.1. Been using a Samsung i780 until now, Windows Mobile 6.0, and I don't like it that much. The Defy will be my first experience with Android and I hope it will be a good one. I also hope it will be upgraded to 2.2 in time, as promised by Motorola.
Most forum members don't use iPhones for a good reason ;)
Seriously, I really don't understand why. I also used to hate Apple products, but after purchasing an iPod touch 4g, I actually became a fan of iPod and iPhone.
They're both very intuitive and very user friendly and the App store offers a huge amount of apps (not mentioning the ability to jailbreak and get many other nodded apps and tweaks).
The only problem IMO is the price, which is much over what you're getting. If only price of the iPhone was the same as its Android competitors (I'm talking about the no-contract SIM free version).
