Nice scores PP and Peti. Got any shots of the 3d three monitor setup Peti? I have thought about doing something like that.

Yeah, give me a sec, I'll take some shots for you. ;) I already have a shot, but that only gives the monitors one kind of justice. Need to take a gaming shot as well. :)
Here are some pics as requested, they are all in 2d Surround because 3D just adds another image to the screen making it look blurred. Only looks good if you have the shutter glasses on.
5760x1080 (Native)
6040x1080 (Custom Resolution to draw pixels at monitor borders too)

And Here is a picture for kicks, some of the benefits of triple monitor setup:

I used to want a triple monitor setup for that kinda stuff and now looking at these pictures I don't.
Lol, that's funny, the stretch that you see on the side monitors doesn't look stretched when you are sitting and looking at the middle monitor, because it is your peripheral vision that sees that and it looks fine. When taking a picture from far away, it looks different and distorted. I personally like surround and when my buddy came over, he said, dude, keep it on, I don't want to go back to just a single monitor. hahaha...
Either way, lets not get off topic too much. We can start a new thread for widescreen gaming if needed.
thanks for the warning about that last set of pics. the boys were behind me and I'm sure I'm gonna hear about it from my soon to be EX
Hey Peti you should start one. Because now there are two of us. BTW impressive scores on 11
I'll go ahead and try to get an even higher score later, I have some plans to overclock my system a bit further. Thanks.
Nope more then 2 Heres my setup

Yeah, could be a cool idea, I'll run it by Bjorn to see if he can add a forum for wide screen gaming, that way if some games have problems there can be a discussion to figure out what can be done.
Wow nice display setup for both of you. Hmmm. Might be ordering another monitor.
Would you guys be interested reading about a comparison between standard reference GTX 580s in 3-way SLI vs. 3GB model GTX 580s in 3-way SLI? Also we could maybe throw in two GTX 590s to see how each setup performs on a Sandy Bridge setup with three Full HD 3D monitors in 2D Surround and 3D Surround setup?
Would love to see that. Maybe throw in an ASUS Mars II to test also.
I'll see what I can do, but Mars 2 might be a bit difficult to get hold of.
Personbally there needs to be a comparison of AMDs Eyefinity and Nvidias 3D Vision Surround. But do all type of configurations. hence, AMDs capability of using 1-4 Video cards, and Nvidias 2+ needed. So do a comparison that uses 1 AMD 6970, 2 6970's, 3 6970s. and then do 2 Nvidia 580s and 3 Nvidia 580s. lot of runs but that is the name of the game. if you going to do a comparison might as well bring out all of the stops. Because both types of setups have their strengths and weakness'. then do a true comparison of the 6990 and a 590 (these are the only cards that only require 1 video card to run a multimonitor set up.) But you will have to mention that Nvidia is limited to 3 monitors while AMD can run up to 5.
