Well CPU wont grant too much of a difference. I would say I got a 100-200 point difference on CPU only. You'll have to ramp up the GPU but honestly I don't see you reaching 10k on that GPU. Maybe 9k depending on how high you can clock the GPU.
Yea, I gotta learn how to overclock all over again. Overclocking isn't like how it used to be back in the day. It seems to be more intriquite now. I already downloaded MSI afterburner for GPU OCing and that seems to be quite straight forward. But OCing the CPU I will definitely need help on how to do. I'm sure if I get the basics, I will be able to figure out the rest myself.
It's as simple as upping your core voltage and raising your multiplier. No FSB usage.
Btw, my i5 750 at 3.8 and the 580 got a 7100 score.
Not really. If he wants to go for a simple OC to say 4.3 or something like that then it's just a case of raising the multiplier to 43 then upping the voltage until it's stable. It takes me less than 20 minutes to OC and stress test things if it is for personal use and gaming.
Im gonna post my scores here in a few after i clean up some stuff.
Here is mine please refrain from the laughter, lol

I OCed my CPU over the weekend. Running 4Ghz stable. I'll post up a bench tonight if I get the chance.
