Hi. I recently found out my rams were faulty. So i contacted corsair and got some RMA information. They told me that the ram should not be put inside a standard envelope. Do any of you guys with some experience know what works the best? I want the package to be not so hard for me to do. Thank you.
When I have to send memory back, I normally drop by Staples and pick up a padded envelope and packaging tape. Any business supply store will carry something like that. If you can fit a piece of cardboard into the padded envelope, that helps as well. Attachment 2744
Tape and cardboard help with rigiditiy.
or go to the local post office and get one of the "if it fits it ships: boxes. the small one costs $5.20 pack the mom with paper or bubble wrap or a soft A/C filter material etc.
and don't forget thee anti-static bag
