They are basicly the same card. the 9500 is slightly faster so use it. when you install it go into the nvidia control panel and tell it that is a dedicated physx card. with luick you won't get the driver conflicts that PP mentioned.
What, you can now use an nvidia card as a dedicated physx with AMD video as a primary ?
it was a nightmare before. had to use a third monitor and then set the nvidia as primary etc etc etc. Nvidia needs to just make it where we can run physix on amd based vids.
I would love to do this with the system I'm getting ready to build. I have the 7870 I'm going to be using as my primary card. However, I also have a GT610 sitting at home not doing anything else. If I can get it to be a physx card, that'd be awesome. Most likely though, I won't end up doing this and the GT610 will end up being a tester card.
Not sure if people are still able to do this or not.
I guess I can try this. I have the card and system resources here at work :p.
Where can I start on getting this to work?
I'm not trying to be an ass at all, but Google. Haven't seen people do this since the Vantage days.
lol. No, I kinda expected that to be the answer. So long as you didn't say, "Google" and have Google be a link for LMGTFY :p
I thought about it but that stuff is pretty rude :p
I do that to people sometimes. Especially when I'm in troll mode or when a person is like, "I don't believe you!"
