Bassett hound?
so far we have had both a panther and a coyoyte in the yard. this is neither and theses prints are larger than either of those left. so I will have to assume this is no common pet wandering about. that print is about 7 to 7 1/2 inches long.
can you do a little larger picture please.
I have to get the original. this is from my facebook page and I think the original is from a phone cam. today we found a definite cat print that is as long as a full sized bic and at least 2 1/2 to 3 inches accross. I think I'm a bit too near the everglades.
it's a bird of some kind i think
I can't get a beter image yet so allow me to describe it. the front of the print looks like a cannine, same general spread in the toe pattern, and the claws are plainly evident. however the "talon" looking piece in the back is why we cannot identify this thing. Someone suggested a bear, which is possible as we have a fairly common black bear, and a less common brown one, but they also said it doesn't lok quite right for a bear. what ever it is it's large as the foot is about 7 1/2 inches long.
if it's a bird it's bigger than an emu..:jawdrop:
That's definitely a Velociraptor ...
....they never attack the same place twice. They were testing the fences for weaknesses, systematically. They remember.
I am sooooo happy that you two are interested in helping me sleep better at night....... :p
as long as u don't have to reboot your computer form the outside, it's ok
keep your shotgun handy too.....just sayin'
I have a pistol handy that they claim you can hunt a Kodiak with. I will however reserve one bullet as I refuse to be eaten alive!:paw::ahhhhh:
I think the second image may be what has been invading my yard. i must investigate further...
