I just received my invite code for Crysis 3 Alpha on Origin.
I was wondering has anyone else received the invite? or waiting to check out the game? :) I haven't accessed my Gaming system to start downloading. Any Idea how big the game might be?

It's Crysis so I was already not interested. After seeing screenshots of it, still not interested. It appears to be taxing machines pretty heavily without much more on the graphics front compared to Crysis 2.
More than plenty, but the lack of interest means I didn't even try to get a key lol. I saw what I needed from somebody else. I'm really not a fan of the Crysis series at all, if that wasn't apparent.
Yes it was heavy on graphics. Played it on windowed mode because the screen lag is killing me LOL.
I played crysis 2 and finished the game. It was the longest FPS game I finished, story was kinda long and was difficult to finish. Well, same with crysis 2, the environment as usual was DARK. Had to adjust brightness to both the game and monitor to see things well. My eyes are burning after an hour of playing... never had that when playing BF3 or MW3..
you can find an alien weapon mortar thingy laying around somewhere.. it has limited ammo but IT HURTS A LOT! be it long range or close range.. I hate that weapon...
A friend of mine said he maxed out the game at 1920x1080 with two GTX 480s and he got an average of 27FPS. I don't have the game. I'll wait till the actual game comes out before I play it. By then I'm sure there will be driver optimizations and updates to fix loopholes and memory leaks.
still not beat warhead yet no time to play
I'm kind of interested to try Crysis 2 or 3 one day, but if it's too dark then meh.
The Crysis and Crysis 2 stories don't blend well IMO. They took it out in left field. I don't exactly remember Crysis 2 being that dark as most of your exploring was done outside in the daylight. I personally like if the game is night time you can hardly see. I hate dark games where you can see almost perfectly, again just personal preference. In RL if I'm walking around outside in the country with no extra moon light it's dark and you can barely see out in front of you. That's why I enjoy the dark mods for Skyrim. No city light in a game with no cities lol.
^ I played Alan Wake (a few scenes) and the game had a "dark" environment but it wasn't difficult to define what you are seeing in the game. In crysis 2, I used to increase the backlighting of my monitor so that I can play well and not die all the time due to unseen dangers LOL. Crysis 3 was relatively the same... eyes burning after an hour of playing LOL.
As much as I hate Crysis I'll have to say I did not have this problem.
I enjoy action games like this, but crysis 2 just wasnt very fun for me for some reason.
