Just beat Farcry 3. For sure a good game. Way better than the second.
Do you have to play FC 1 and 2 in order to know what's going on in 3?
Nah all three of them are separate story lines.
Then why would there be a sequel and a sequel to a sequel? There has to be some sort of connection between the three games even if it's briefly explained in the beginning before you start shooting up stuff.
There is no connection that I'm aware of. Different dudes, different places, different stories. Just Rambo type adventures with some shoot em up in between.
I played the demo of Data Hacker Initiation (Kickstarter project). It's a 2D RPG and IMO has potential.
Never really got into FC1, FC2 I played through and enjoyed the open world but it did get repetitive. Will be trying Far Cry 3 soon hopefully.
Still playing Planetside 2, picking up Secret World again now that it is free to play and a few other random games I got cheap from indie bundles and the thq bundle.
I played FC1 simply due to the hilarious stupid comments the AI shouted.
Going to be trying my hand at Far Cry 3 soon. I have it installed and ready to go but have a lot on my plate to clear out before I can play it, lol. As to FC1 and 2, they're not linked to 3 or each other. The only title that's linked to another is Farcry Instincts/Predator, which best I can tell is basically a different play-through adventure of Far Cry 1.
I'm kind of jonesing for FC3 though, so I'm trying to get all my other stuff done efficiently so that I can get to checking it out.
Still playing Broken Sword on my Nexus 7. Good thing there's a walkthrough.
Halo 2
A classic game I'm playing because I re-introduced my girlfriend to the game and we finally have time to play campaign together. So after playing Halo on heroic I said why don't we go for legendary and play through more halo games, and she was excited. That's why I'm playing through it again, and it's lots of fun!
I can't say there's anything I dislike about the game except that you can't yank off turreted weapons and that the stupid-awesome pistol from Halo has been reduced, but having updates in Halo 3 and other versions gives me something to look forward to.
With Halo 4 being released we've decided to eventually play through all the Halo games, on legendary of course (can't go back now).
If you haven't played Halo, I'm surprised, but I think you should find a friend to play through with. I can't recall ever playing through single player. Personally I feel like halo is one of the classic multiplayer games and while good in single player it shines in bringing friends together, particularly in four-player splitscreen or linked LAN. I love the newer game styles being introduced as well, after getting used to basic slayer modes, I wish halo one had what ODST and newer games have. Perhaps the re-release has those modes.
Played Halo 1 on PC and Halo 2 also on PC but nothing since.
Just won a copy of Torchlight 1 and been playing that. Enjoying it.
Gave up on playing Planetside 2 for now. MY CPU cannot handle it and cant stand the 10-20 fps, sometimes .5 fps.
