While we didn't get to spend ours with family like we wanted to, we get to know that after two hospital visits, my daughter is on the road to recovery :).

She has Croup. Yesterday (about this time), we went to the hospital to get her checked out. I thought she had bronchitis and so did the doctor that saw her. This was even after taking an xray showing she had clean airways in her lungs. This morning, we took her again because she was having difficulty breathing again. This time, the doctor heard her cough and immediately knew what she had. They gave her a breathing treatment of inhalable albuterol to open up her passageways. After further observation they told us what to do and sent her home.Quote:

As for the other type of resolutions, I never make them specifically at this point of the year. This year after the Steam summer sale I had a resolution to stop spending so much money on games I don't play, and I upheld it to a large extent. I still succumb to temptation occasionally, but not nearly to the same extent I did for the first half of the year.
