Hmm... Totally wild guess here, but based on his haircut, I would say Paul Atreïdes from Dune?
And yeah, I've been playing on computers for a long time... I don't think they were really video games back then though, the first time I can remember playing was on a 110 bauds printer terminal using the MUSIC OS (developped by McGill University) in 1976 or 1977...

Well, that is an accurate answer, Enigmachine!!!
Way to go!!!
Give us your riddle :)
-
Wups, sorry, I didn't realize I had gotten it right!
Damned, now I have to find a riddle... Back in a couple of hours! :)
-
I guess I'm no good with riddles because I couldn't come up with any of them! :)
So here's once again a screen capture.

This is probably going to be pretty easy. :) As an additionnal hint, I can tell you that the combat system looks totally copied from Jagged Alliance 2...
Good luck. :)
-
MechCommander 1 or 2?
Mechwarrior?
Mech Arena?
-
No, no, no and No werty, please try again! :)
Hint #2: There is no "mech" in the name.
-
Let's step it up here!
hint #3: Obscure Sierra Online game.
-
Cannonball Blitz?
Earthsiege?
-
Not Cannonball Blitz.
And not Earthsiege... Though Earthsiege would be its parent.
It's a tactical game, not real-time.
I think this is all the hints I can give. :) I guess I'm the only one who played this! :) Not a bad game actually, but repetitive.
-
Took me a bit more time to think about what game it is but I finally think its "Battledrome".
-
No, sorry, not Battledrome. Though I'm finding plenty of games I've never heard about. :)
Oh I just came up with a last hint! There was a comic book by Marc Silvestri with the same name. One of the first series in the Image Comics...
I'll post the answer in about an hour I think.
-
Could be "The Darkness"
-
No, not the Darkness...
Ok my hint was slightly wrong. The comic's name contains 2 words from the game's name, so it's not exactly the same.
-
-
Close enough!
I was starting to think you'd name all the games of that series except the right one!
The complete name is Missionforce: Cyberstorm.
I don't know if that counts as a point. ;)
