Ye all I did was add 2 more to the CPU FSB, and a bit to the core, and she broke, now I have my E6600 at 2.8ghz, and my vid barely OC'd, and just finished runnin a stress test for 2 hours, everything passed, so its all good, I am happy, and can let my beast rest a bit
Also I am going to run everything at stock now to see what it gets, just to see how much of an e-peen gain I got from OC'ing it to tits
8704 completely stock everything, vid CPU, mem, so I got a significant boost from the OC, may even leave it at stcok for a while, and let my baby cool off, and recoup, lol
Sorry for the double post, but U know what I realized, I have become one of those guys that tries to tune the very most out of their system, to the point b4, she blows lol, I remember when I first joined the forums, I saw how some ppl, like volt modified, their ****, and added extra voltage, and diddled with the mem timings, and what not to get the most out of their OC, and I have become one of those ppl, and I like it, when I joined I could barely get .2ghz on my FX 53, now I am gettin 1.1 on my cpu, and a 130 on my vid core, and ~400 on the vid mem core , I am somewhat impressed, lol TY BJORN3D FOR MAKIN ME A TUNER
I have the Corsair Nautilus 500, and it didn't get toasty at all, according to Coretemp(the newer one that says temps are higher than they are) it hit 52, but ye cuz I looked in the bios right after and it was like 35 so ye, I am more likely to believe bios than the Coretemp
Try v0.94 of CoreTemp as it might give you a better reading; other than that try Speedfan as both of these apps read the internal diode in the CPU rather than an onboard sensor which are not accurate.
I gained about 200 points from OC'ing core from 520 to 549 and mem from 1.5 to 1.61.

Edit: Changed link. Think this should work (i hope. I went into comparisons tab then clicked the button (<>) next to my results)
make it a compare, url, it keeps adding it to my projedcts which it definately isnt
Hey guys
I just got done with my 3dmark tests but have a quick question if anyone can help me.
9196 3dmark points is what I get.
But how come when I go to Futuremark website to submit it tells me
Co-operative adapters No
I would guess its not running in SLI...but for some reason its already enabled and it works in Call of Duty 2.
9K seems a bit low for 3Dmark06 with two 8800GTS 320MB cards in SLi.
Double check the control panel.
What drivers are you using?
Latest drivers I got on the nvidia website.
I'm just wondering if there might be a problem with 3dmark 2006 and vista 64bit cause like I said it reports my PC as having only one video card...
See what XP gives you.
