Hahaha Jules I did not notice that when I took the pics with Simon.
Hey BTW I haven't seen you for a while Jules when you gonna come around.
I have to show you something with my PC.
It really sucks man.
I have to use 2 PSU to run my Asus Commando with my Mach 2 GT.
Something the *(&^&*^ Intel chipset does.
I should have gotten a Striker Extreme instead...
Maybe I can still return the commando !
BTW MAnic do you know that Rizzla is actually Riz Lacroix (thats how its supposed to be said since at the end it finishes by LA then there's a cross)
Meaning Rice La Croix.
Paper made from Rice and Lacroix is the name of the maker.
3430 on system listed below, gonna get a shiney new sempy 3000+(9x multi woohoo), heard you can get 3+ghz on the newer sempy's on stock cooling. the one i have now from 2001(or around that time) overclocks quite nicely
Here are the 3DMark06 results I achieved with my new Leadtek 8800GTX:
My CPU is a X2 3800+ CPU currently clocked at 2.4Ghz (240x10)
Stock (575/1800): 8407 Pts
http://img467.imageshack.us/img467/6...ckedio5.th.jpg
Overclocked (630/2100): 8562 Pts
http://img467.imageshack.us/img467/2...ckeduk3.th.jpg
I could have reached a higher overclocked, but I didn't want to risk the card...:-?
how hot do the 8800's get? i know the cooler is freaking huge, but i guess it would need it...it seems video cards are drawing more and more power, while cpu's are using less and less....
nevertheless nice scores:jawdrop:
but Scott's quad sli config got in the 9,000's:ahhhhh:
Scott benchmarked at a much higher resolution.
http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthr...light=mongoose
Currently it idles at around 66C and gets to a maximum of 81-82C on heavy load (playing a highly-demanding game or running ATITool for a few minutes. On 3DMark06, it doesn't get over 78C). I think it's quite OK...;-)
Yeah, like werty said, I ran it on the default settings of 3DMark06, which includes 1280x1024 resolution. I bet that Scott ran his cards on a higher resolution, probably 1600x1200...
Great score Zachig!
I think if it works good in games (report please if not) other then "RunAway 2" then stay with Stock speed until you feel the need
and again congrats on the new great card
Okay i SUK 5151 with my setup. But not for long...SHHH

Come on, it's not "that" bad for TWO 6800GS cards.
I was still using a single 6800GS myself 10 months ago and then I've replaced it with a 7800GTX, then, TWO 7900GT in SLi and now, this AMAZING 8800GTX.
I wish you the same, and you don't have to be so secret... So what is it going to be a 8800GTS or...GTX??? ;-)
not bad for what ya running , you should be proud of your set up no matter what ....
Better than my setup, but CPU makes a big difference. Anyone know how these scores are calculated? It threw me off one day when just adding them kept on throwing me off.
True 'dat. I'm mighty proud of my box, it's been with me through thick and thin. I'm never changing my case, it's a part of me now. :wink:Quote:
