I just might have to try installing Vista again when I get my board back from XFX.

Hmmm...sounds like a nice idea, but can you also log what's going on during boot?

But I know you can't take a screenshot but I thought if you had a camera you could show us the secret boot screen.

But the idea of showing where in MSconfig is also good for those who were looking for it even though I think everyone here knows how to get in there.
That's why i've written the entire steps about how to reach Msconfig.

    Hmmm...looks VERY NICE!!!

    Thanks for the pictures, sushrukh!!!

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm definitely going to try it soon...just one thing: If I decide to cancel the changes I've made, can it be done easily only by unchecking again the "No GUI Boot" checkbox???

Yep.Just uncheck the box again to disable the boot screen.I wonder why the heck MS didn't enable it by default. It looks atleast somewhat better than having no bootscreen at all.

Yah but I think the black loading screen is actually classy.

Ya, that has a class for sure but i would certainly love to see the name of the OS i'm booting into.I think, this is the first OS by MS which doesn't show its name while loading.

I persoanlly like the solution offered by sush! It gives it a more "professional" look, if there's such a thing in "Vista".

You'll use the classic theme even in Vista ? You don't deserve to run vista then bcoz i think Vista is mostly famous for the looks.
