I have the same issue as Teej with OCZ ddr2-8500. It will only go as high as 800mhz. And most of the settings in this PDF are not in my 750a's bios.

Do you have a Phenom or Phenom II? If your using a old X2 then it will only go to 800.

I thought that CPU did support 1066 RAM?

did you flash your bios to the new one that supports the Phenoms?

I'm not sure how to enter the correct values for my ram...
i've got 4g ddr2 pc8500 (2x2g modules) 1066mhz, 2.3v
motherboard = 750a SLI
cpu = phenomII dualcore 3.1hmz 550 black.
could this be why i can't boot (unless i hit CMOS reset switch then press f2 to lead default settings + continue)?
can't replace my BIOS to resolve compatibility issues either, checksum error. Could incorrect ram settings be causing this?
I started a thread on it, but this seems a better spot (+ i added more info)

you have the xfx 750a .you need to find out your timings to set them manually. you can set your voltage to 2.1 volts but that's as high as this board goes.
in the just woot settings in bios there is a cpu configuration you need to go in there set the timing to both, t2 (IIRC), 533, and the set the cas, trp and such to whatever is on your mem.
the voltage settings are additive. turn it all the way up, and you will reach 2.1
what brand you have is as important as any other info you give on your hardware.The path to universal understanding starts here: Say what you mean, and mean what you say.
